This policy describes the built site: the page creates the measurement and advertising scripts by default. Reject saves a denial and reloads the document without those loaders, terminating scripts that were already running.
Default load, and how to withdraw
On your first visit this guide loads Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity, and Adsterra before you click anything. The banner at the bottom says so and offers two choices. Allow all keeps the load and stores granted. Reject non-essential stops the loaders, removes the ad units, updates Google consent to denied, withdraws Clarity consent, and hides the Social Bar. Reject is stored in kt_consent for 180 days. The Cookie settings button in the footer opens the banner again, so a choice can be changed at any time.
YouTube is the exception: no YouTube iframe is requested until you press Load video on a page that has one. The embed uses youtube-nocookie.com.
If navigator.globalPrivacyControl is true, the site records denied and does not show the banner. DNT is not read.

Vendor cookie names and lifetimes can change; this site does not claim a verified account-level retention setting for Google, Microsoft, Adsterra or the hosting provider. Consult their linked policies. Reject prevents future site measurement / advertising loads, but does not erase every cookie previously stored by vendors. Browser site settings can remove those records. Optional videos remain a separate, explicit action.
Purpose and privacy controls
Analytics measures readership, Clarity helps identify usability problems, and advertising supports the guide. This site does not offer user accounts or request payment information. Do not submit sensitive personal information in correction emails.
The banner describes a default-load, opt-out implementation; an untouched banner is not evidence of affirmative consent. Google Consent Mode is a technical signal, not a certification of legal compliance. Global Privacy Control is treated as Reject. If you do not want these third-party requests, use Reject or browser privacy controls. This policy does not promise that vendors delete data already received when you withdraw.
