Best team for the Kanto Tactics campaign
There is no official “best campaign team” for v34.2. The beginner post names four hard clear rates. A v32 simulation of one Psychic Starmie board beat most bosses and lost hard to Agatha. Treat that board as an example from 2026-10-17, not as a current solve.

v33 changed the teams for Blaine, Erika, Bruno, Lance, Giovanni, and Mewtwo. A plan that only copies a v32 roster can miss those edits.
What the v32 sim actually showed
kantotactics.org simulated a Psychic Starmie board (5 Psychic / 4 Water) against 15 bosses. The published result was 100% on Brock, Misty, Surge, Erika, Koga, Sabrina, Blaine, Giovanni, Lorelei, Bruno, Lance, Blue, and Mewtwo, and 17% on Agatha. The exception is the point: swap units or items for Agatha instead of forcing one comp.
Ranked item shares from v34 are on PvP builds. They are a different mode. Campaign interest still caps at +4.

Is Psychic Starmie the best team?
It was a strong v32 simulation that still failed Agatha. It is not a v34.2 official ranking.
Does this page cover Battle Tower teams?
