Kanto Tactics is a free browser game by Einoow. You buy from a shop, star units by merging three copies, activate type traits, and watch the fight. The promo says 151 Kanto Pokémon; the v35 changelog instead identifies a 66-entry current collection.

Modes on the official page
Campaign is 8 gyms, the Elite Four, and Champion Blue, with a hidden Mewtwo. Battle Tower is 200 floors with a weekly board. Adventures adds Safari Zone, Lavender Town at night, and Team Rocket. Online PvP is an 8-player table with ranked, normal, friend rooms, and duos.
Einoow wrote that more than 7,000 players reached the campaign board in the first weeks. That figure is the author’s own count, not an outside audit.

No. Einoow says it is not affiliated with Nintendo, Creatures, GAME FREAK, or The Pokémon Company.
Why do videos call it Pokémon Auto Chess?
Some titles use that phrase for the genre. The open-source project at pokemon-auto-chess.org is a different game.
